The interesting little bit there is the link to the PDF document “Homegrown Violent Extremist Mobilization Indicators” that details just how to spot this in your family or friends. What everyone should fine troubling is that these same exact policies exist in Cuba and China. For the time being at least, the penalties here in the United States won’t be as severe as those in China or Cuba. But does taking a page from their playbook, or the playbook on Nazi Germany seem like a great idea? While we still have some semblance of due process in this country the road we are traveling will surely bring us to guilty until proven innocent.
